The Canadian Badlands: Road Trip, Dino & Fishing Photos That Didn’t (Yet) Make It Into The Papers

The Canadian Badlands in eastern Alberta is the perfect destination for a rugged road trip: empty, often winding roads, spectacular views, the brightest light and greatest skies you can imagine. During the last weeks, features of my recent trip through the Badlands have been published in Die Welt and Die Südostschweiz newspapers.

However, papers such as these can only publish so many photos. Below you find a few more images that I took during my last road trip. All of those shots haven’t been published yet.

If you are interested in a road trip feature about the Badlands or images of that region, contact me through this page of my website. There are many more photos (and stories) where these came from!

A classic Badlands shot...

Close up shot of those rock formations.

You can't go on a road trip and not have a shot like this. More classic material!

So there is some water in the Badlands: bridge over the South Saskatchewan River.

Did anyone say "Lost?" Not sure whether they are going to finish this bridge over the South Saskatchewan River.

Jordan Kuhn of JC's River Fishing, jcsriverfishing.com. Thank you for a great day fishing!

Of course, the Badlands are famous for their dinosaurs...

...and other pre-historic animals. Mammoth!
